Hydroxyethyl Cellulose

Being highly viscous when solution is made it is widely used as a gelling and thickening agent. it is highly water soluble that thickens when added into water and forms films, exhibit pseudo plastic solution behavior, tolerate salts and retain water. It is used as a latex in paints, building materials, oilfield chemicals and cleaning products, along with many other industrial applications .

Concentration varies from 4.0 - 10.0 lb/bbl at normal condition.
